Tweed United Football Club has 2 women’s teams, both playing in the Womens Wednesday night Metro League.

Last season we had 1 womens team that all played on Wednesday nights, finishing in the top 4 of the competition ladder. Coached by Mark G, the womens team are looking stronger and more competitive heading into the 2019 season.

Tweed United Women are a fun loving bunch of women who don’t just play soccer but are friends who socialise together as well.

We welcome all players of all abilities.

Since the foundation season in 2012, Tweed United’s first grade side has played in the second tier of Gold Coast Football (Coast League 1). In that time the First Grade was coached by the Coast’s most experienced coach Dennis Dodd.

The first grade has made the finals for all but one season in this time. The Marlins’ inaugural season saw the reserve grade win the grand final coached by John Lesslie.

The club also hopes to fields social teams in Weekend and / or Midweek Metro competitions.

In 2017 Senior men did the double and took out the top spot in Coast League One as well as the Grand Final to be one of the most successful years in Tweed United's history for the Men's team.

2019 will see the Senior Mens team take part in the FGC Premier League competition for the second year in a row, coached by Deano M. 2019 looks like being the clubs most successful yet with an influx of new players and the retention of some core players.
